Mixed billing means you will have a gap payment (out of pocket expense). This is the difference between the doctor's fee and the Medicare rebate.
Consultation fees vary due to the length and complexity of a consultation. Our receptionists will inform you of charges at the time of booking. Payment is required on the day of the consultation and can be made by cash, EFTPOS or credit card (excluding Diners and AMEX cards).
Specific items may be bulk billed at the GP's discretion — please bring a current Medicare card or concession card.
Workers compensation patients must provide a claim number for every visit.
Appointment types and fees
We have standardized appointment lengths for different types of consultations. Standard consults are 15 minutes long, suitable for a straightforward issue or a few simple concerns. Short consults may be used for brief check-ups or follow-ups. Long consults typically last 20-40 minutes; they are suitable for discussing multiple concerns or a more complex condition. Extended consultations lasting over 40 minutes are designed for patients with multiple complex concerns or chronic health issues requiring detailed assessment and management plans.
